Review: Laura Geller Balance and Brighten in Fair + Stila Kitten Eyeshadow

After obsessing over these two makeup products for weeks I decided to splurge on them at my local Ulta grand opening(which by the way guys, that is my new favorite place to be).  These two products are super pricey, the powder was 33$ and the shadow was...18$. I don't think this powder is dupe-able and I couldn't find a good dupe for the shadow either.

Review: Neutrogena Healthy Skin Smoothing Stick Concealer in Light 02 + Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder in 820 Light Pale + Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 002 Hazel

This post is probably going to be a long one! Here we gooo!
I picked these up from my local CVS. I heard nice things about the Rimmel eyebrow pencil and I needed a slighter darker concealer because my Revlon Photoready Concealer  is absolutely beautiful BUT it brightens and putting a brightening concealer on a blemish makes your pimple bright which is almost as noticeable as it being a red bump. I also picked up this Revlon Colorstay pressed powder because I absolutely love the foundation and I have only tried 1 other pressed powder (Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder in Natural Ivory). I love the Neutrogena powder but I also like trying out new products.

Review: Maybelline Touch of Light Luminizing Face Glow + Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pearl Plum

Yayy my first review in a whole month! I actually bought this awhile ago but I got fairly backed up with reviews.I picked these both up from my local supermarket. I believe the Maybelline highlighter was limited edition so I don't think its around anymore which is seriously unfortunate because i love it.

Ahhh!I've been gone for too long!

I've been in Kuwait for the past month. For the first two weeks of being here I had absolutely terrible jetlag and i've spent this month trying to get used to being here since its quite a bit different than America.
I originally wanted to paint the above painting traditionally but I couldn't afford to bring my extra suitcase full of paint so I had to paint it digitally. I'll probably paint it the way I intended to when I get home at the end of the month.
Makeup wise I am fairly backed up with reviews so I'm going to try and get a couple reviews out this month since I'm a bit more situated in my surroundings.
Anyway, just wanted to do a quick update since I haven't in so long!
Here are some makeup buys I've gotten in Kuwait!
I also purchased a Soap and Glory mattifying lotion and a No.7 Protect and Perfect night cream but I ended up throwing those out because I started breaking out.
Not a whole lot but I am fairly broke here so I can't buy much. Its really cool seeing all these makeup brands that I've never heard of in the drugstores. I want to try products from each of them!(You can get NYX, Make Up For Ever and L'Oreal of course in America but you can't get Bourjois)Its also cool going to a Boots since we don't have those stores in America either.
Anyway guys!I'm helping the boyfriend with a comic book job he got here in Kuwait so I have to go do that!I'll try to update more this month!
Bye!Have a nice day!!

Reiew:Physicians Formula Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls in Translucent Pearl + NARS Blush in Orgasm

I have been wanting these two items for quite some time. I seriously have been developing quite a highlighter and blush collection lately. I really need to invest in some sort of storage system for my makeup. But thats a totally different blog post!Guys, please excuse the quality of these pics. Its been getting so dark so early lately and its hard to get a clear shot in my bathroom in the evening.

Review: L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base

Oh my gosh!A product review that isn't 5 different products! This review has been on my product review queue for quite some time. The L'Oreal studio secret professional magic products had me curious to try for awhile because they are expensive for a drugstore brand and you only get a rather small amount of product. My silly self actually assumed that they really were magic.

Review: Benefit High Beam Highlighter + Hoola Bronzer

A makeup technique I have been really interested in learning how to do lately is highlighting and contouring. Highlighting is a fairly easy technique however contouring really..isn't. It was pretty hard for me to actually find a bronzer I could use since I am quite pale. It was also difficult finding a matte bronzer. After purchasing about...5 drugstore bronzers that were either too dark or too shimmery or too red I decided to splurge on Hoola.I also picked up high beam because I am a total sucker to highlighters.

Review: Revlon Photoready Foundation VS. Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Lately I have been interested in testing out a new foundation. The foundation I was using prior to these was the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup in Natural Ivory (review: HERE). Now, that foundation is lovely. I really like it. However, after some Youtube research it seems as though the Revlon Colorstay is the most popular drugstore foundation. While researching I also saw that there was a ton of comparison videos of these two foundations. I personally like both however prefer one over the other.

Review: e.l.f Studio H.D Blush in Superstar + e.l.f Studio Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia + e.l.f Studio Cream Blush in Heartbreaker + e.l.f Studio Blush in Gotta Glow + e.l.f Essentials Eyelid Primer in Sheer and Champagne

So so so many products in one review...
Oh welll, better get started! These are just some of the products I rather liked from a recent e.l.f haul.e.l.f is way too addicting because most of the products are quite nice and incredibly inexpensive.I've had these products for 2-3 weeks so I think my opinion on them is rather developed.Since I am reviewing 6 things tonight these reviews are going to be quite straight and to the point.

Review: MAC Brow Set in Beguile + Milani Brow Tint Pen in Dark Brown + My Current Brow Routine + e.l.f Haul

ANOTHER BROW PRODUCT?Yes. I think I have a serious brow obsession.Every brow product I buy isn't quite the effect I am looking for and to be honest I am not even sure what effect I am looking for anymore. But whatever, I don't regret buying either of these products so that's pretty good.I'm going to apologize right now, these photos aren't the best because I was sort of trying to hurry because I was applying this makeup before work and it was rather early in the morning >.<.

Hellooooo, guys! I am here with a review of the Candylicious Puffy 3 Tone Violet lens super kindly sponsored by Apple of your Eyes <3
I really do love this shop! And not only because they sponsor me lenses, but 1. they have the largest selection of lenses ever(they sell hard to find brands like LuxuryBabe and Fynale) and 2. the owner is just a really super nice lady named Allyson. She actually also sent me a replacement lens for a defective circle lens she sponsored me a month ago(review: HERE) which was AWESOME because now I can wear those super cute lenses!

{Sponsored}Review:Studio Du Chat Beige Jewelry

Studio Du Chat Beige is an incredibly awesome Etsy store. The store is owned by Annie. There are a number of lovely Fairy Kei, Lolita, and classic jewelry pieces in this store. Annie also sells jewelry supplies for those who are interested in making their own jewelry. The store is based in Canada so the jewelry didn't take long at all to get to the U.S.

Lucky Cheng's in New York City

So some of you guys are probably like, what is going on in this picture?Whats Lucky Cheng's?Who are these people? Why isn't this a review? I had a rather fun weekend so I decided i'd show you guys! This weekend I went to Lucky Cheng's in New York for my sister's bachelorette party. The girl with the tiara is my sister and the person in the mask is a drag queen she is getting a lap dance from. Lucky Cheng's is a legendary drag queen cabaret club in...I believe Manhattan. My sister, my sister in law, and two other bridesmaids all went to New York for the night. It was incredibly expensive (I don't know about you guys, but I have never gotten a 500$ bill for a restaurant) but definitely worth it since my sister had fun :)

Review:Tony Moly 02 Red Apple Lip Tint

I saw this lip tint on Jennifer's blog and I thought it had a really pretty effect! I had been looking for a fairly pigmented lip tint for quite some time. AND YOU GUYS, I found it!Since I specifically wanted a pigmented lip tint I looked into some reviews from other popular brands like Etude House and Lioele before deciding on Tony Moly.

Review: MAC Lipstick in Film Noir

I don't normally buy MAC lipstick unless I want an incredibly specific color. Don't get me wrong, I love MAC's lipsticks but its just a bit expensive(not too bad really, its only 15$USD but thats still quite a bit for lipstick)Something I also don't usually do is fall in love with makeup trends while looking through magazines. Well, I was reading Elle and fell absolutely in love with something they referred to as "wine stained lips". Once I looked at the name of one of the lipsticks I just hadddddd to have it.So I went over to Macys that day and picked up Film Noir.

These lenses were super de duper kindly sponsored by K-Circlelens. K-Circlelens were perfectly polite and nice in the emails we shared. Review: e.l.f Studio Lip Exfoliator, e.l.f Essentials Eyelid Primer in Golden, Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain + Balm in Gothic

Me trying to show most of the makeup used because I don't have a group shot.

You guys are probably like, girl, why don't you do one review at a time? And to be honest, its because I buy too much makeup every week and that would take me days to stretch out. So, I prefer making one big giant barf of a post! Anyway, earlier this week...or last week I posted about my e.l.f haul. I pretty much love all the things I bought. So I figured I might as well start reviewing my favorites from it. I also lost my Covergirl Lip stain so I had to buy a new one.

Review:EOS 2 Tone Neon Brown Circle Lens

Brand: EOS
Diameter : 14.8mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.8mm
Life Span : 1 Year Disposal
Maplelens actually accidentally sent me these instead of the Candy Browns. I can understand the mix up because the two lenses are quite similar in my opinion. When I contacted them about the mix up they let me keep these and promptly sent out the Candy Browns via Fedex Express which was so awesome.

e.l.f Haulll

I had a bit of extra money this week and decided to pick up some e.l.f makeup I discovered while looking at e.l.f favorite videos.  I just got this today so I don't have an opinion of most of it.But I am really excited to use them all tomorrow!

{Sponsored} Review: BLACK WIDOW Lip Balm in Gossip, Ursula and Orb

"Sealed by Lady BLACK WIDOW for the protection of the innocent."

BLACK WIDOW Lip Balms is a totally fantastic cruelty free. Their balms are filled with all natural ingredients and they seriously feel lovely on your lips. Not only do they feel lovely, but they smell lovely too!I don't know about you, but I really like makeup that smells awesome. I feel a serious appreciation for good smelling makeup at the moment because for whatever reason my mascara smells like gin.It was free and it works nicely but its smells like gin. Gross.

The super duper lovely EyeWantLenses sponsored me this pair of contacts. So a big ol' thank you to them! They are located in Australia and were fairly quick to respond to my questions and the lenses came quite quickly. When i was looking through their selection of lenses (they have a number of lenses available ready stock but also place batch orders) I came across the tri-color purples. My selecting this was sort of random on my part. I didn't have a particular interest in this series but wanted to see how this super natural lens would turn out.

How much my face costs (too much) + Jessyface's bridal shower.

I saw a pretty interesting post on The Beauty and the Cheap's blog about how much her face costs. Or rather, how much all the makeup she uses daily costs.

Review: e.l.f Studio Powder Brush, Essential Liquid Eyeliner in Copper, and Studio Blush in Candid Coral

I have spent the past week or so looking at makeup tutorials, reviews, "products I regret buying", and "products I love" Youtube videos when I'm bored. I came to notice that throughout the products I love videos and products I regret buying videos there were a number of e.l.f products scattered throughout them.  I decided to wander over to my local Target and pick up a couple of the really super loved products.I've never bought any e.l.f products before because im a ninkumpoop(no idea how to spell that and i'm not Googling it) The reason why i've never bought any e.l.f products is because they are incredibly inexpensive. Now some of you guys are probably like"wha?" but I sort of associated the e.l.f brand with the Wet n' Wild brand which I've only had one terrible experience with. I bought Wet n' Wild lipstick in middle school and the color literally wouldn't even move when I tried to put it on. Sooo, little middle school me decided to pop it in the microwave and it melted and got everywhere.

LuxuryBabe 12 Brown

BUT THEN, I came across Apple of Your Eyes's blog shop and THERE THEY WERE!And they had them in prescription!Wooo!

Review:Smashbox Anti Shine + Sephora Anti Shine

Got the Smashbox Anti Shine: here
Sephora Anti Shine:I actually bought it in store where is was on sale for 5$. It was online for 5$ too but it isn't anymore.

These are the two products I plan to review. I REALLY love one and positively do not like the other.
I heard about the Smashbox Anti Shine from a fellow blogger named Jounka. Okay, this may sound stupid but I had never heard of this product before. I now there are products for oily skin( by the way, my skin is combination) but when I originally got very interested in higher end makeup during my high school years I went into a Sephora store and I told the woman I needed something to make my skin less shiny and she handed me a primer. So I just assumed that primers and powders were the only things out there to make your skin more matte.

Its my birthday todayyyyay!Review:Revlon Super Lustrous Kiss Me Coral Lipstick+Freshlook Sterling Grey Contacts + Gold Collar Necklace!

I've been wanting to try out an orangeish colored lipstick for quite a bit now. I saw another blogger do a review on a super pretty Revlon lipstick in some sort of orange shade and I thought it was so pretty so I originally went to the store to pick up that exact lipstick. I  couldn't find it among all the many orange tinted Revlon lipsticks and after some close comparisons I decided upon this lipstick!

Review:Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer+Fresh Sugar Lip treatment

I sort of got a ton of products from Sephora the other day.I've been using their primer for a couple years now and since my birthday is soon they gave me my birthday present which was these two lip cutiez. Sephora gives you a birthday present when you are in their VIB (very important beauty) program. You can pick this lip treatment or a body wash. I believe this is the first year where they let you pick between 2 items. Last year they gave me a rather tasty cake smelling body wash. Its nice, but I prefer makeup to body washes.

Review and tutorial:Dolly Wink Eyebrow Mascara 02 Mocha + Dolly Wink Eyebrow Powder 02 Chocolate Brown + brow tutorial

WHAT A LONG FRIGGIN' TITLE!
These are two of the three products I got from Pretty&Cute. Now, I have heard of Tsubasa Masuwaka
and her makeup brand because I have seen many many reviews on her incredibly popular line of eyelashes. I wear individual eyelashes so I don't really have a need for her eyelashes. However, I do have quite uneven brows so I wanted to try these products out to see if I could get my brows to look lighter and more even with these.
